Nach mehreren Höhen und Tiefen muss die Firma Insolvenz anmelden.

Das Unternehmen wird in Fa. Paatz Viernau GmbH mit 560 Mitarbeitern umgewandelt, 40 davon sind Azubis.

1972

Das Unternehmen wird dem Heckert-Kombinat zugeordnet und endgültig verstaatlicht.

1966

Das Produktionsprofil wird um Automatisierungselemente erweitert.

1960

Fa. Paatz vergrößert die Produktionsanlagen und zieht nach Viernau, wo sie auch bis heute ansässig ist.

1957

Mit Beginn der staatlichen Beteiligung ist die Beschäftigtenzahl auf 128 gestiegen.

1948

Das Unternehmen beschäftigt 102 Mitarbeiter, sieben davon sind Lehrlinge.

1945

​Wiederaufbau mit 17 Mitarbeitern – es werden Güter des täglichen Bedarfs gefertigt, die Mechanikerdrehbänke und Sondermaschinen mit Bohr- und Fräseinheiten kommen dazu.

Kriegsjahre mit 65 Beschäftigten.

1933

Veränderung des Produktionsprofils mit der Einführung der Konstruktion und Herstellung von Mehrspindelbohrköpfen – »DAS« Rationalisierungsmittel der Zukunft genannt.

kommen die Jagdwaffen dazu, die Beschäftigtenzahl steigt auf 50.

Mit 15 Beschäftigten hat man sich auf Produktion von Sportpistolen erweitert.

Als »Bernhard Paatz Waffenfabrik« in Zella-Mehlis gegründet.
